How It Works
When you send a message with Protectoria, you address the message to the recipient's e-mail address and mobile phone number. When sent, Protectoria delivers the message securely to the recipient as shown below.
Bob's company subscribes to Protectoria while Alice's does not. | 1. Bob sends a protected message to Alice. The message is transmitted securely to Protectoria. 2. Alice receives an e-mail notification including a link that points to the message. 3. Alice clicks the link and receives a PIN code on her mobile phone. 4. Alice enters the PIN code and opens the protected message (and downloads it to her inbox if she wants to). |
| Protectoria offers two interfaces when sending protected messages. The Protectoria Plug-in works with Microsoft Outlook® while Protectoria Webmail enables you to send protected messages from anywhere on the Internet. | |
The Protectoria Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook is available to customers with Microsoft Exchange Server. Other customers use the Protectoria Webmail to protect their e-mails. |
