Strategy for secure public message exchange in Norway is published
The Norwegian Agency for Public Management and eGovernment (DIFI) has published its proposed strategy concerning the need for protected message exchange towards governmental service providers and citizens and businesses.
The main value drivers behind the strategy are (a) better and more available public services, (b) removing the insecure, cumbersome or cost generating messaging processes that are in place today, (like paper-based distribution, telefax or insecure e-mail.)
DIFI clearly states the need for confidentiality and message read notifications on electronic message exchange between public services and its Norwegian users.
Protectoria meets all of these requirements and goes even further by offering confidentiality and proof of correspondence towards any random recipient worldwide.
The published strategy (only in Norwegian) is available here: http://www.difi.no/filearchive/difi-rapport-2011-7-en-felles-meldingsboks.pdf
